So summer is coming
Pretty much felt like summers day today
Was in my pants on the lawn again (neighbours love that)
But we have 8 weeks until july
I’d say that was the start of summer
Around the time kids go off
Teachers have their annual 18 week break (not that im jealous of some of my teacher clients)
Sounds like a long time doesn’t it
And it is
Loads of time to get great results
IF
You start NOW
You know exactly where you are NOW
You know exactly what it is you WANT
Which leads to knowing the work involved
Which means you can put together a plan to get you there
So do you?
What’s your body composition like at the moment?
What’s your body fat percentage?
What do you want to look like exactly?
What levels of fat does that body type have?
What kind of training is required?
How often?
What’s your diet like at the moment?
How many calories are you consuming?
What are those calories made up of in terms of protein/fat/ carbohydrate?
What is your nutritional plan?
How many calories should you consume? To start? Throughout the process?
How many of you decided when you woke up new years day ‘this was the year I’m going to get fit’
Then just went for a few runs, tried a diet you read in the cosmopolitan ‘New Year New You’ special
And a month later once everyone was back on the booze sacked it off after a night out in pitcher and piano as you weren’t seeing the results
Few hands raised
There needs to be a system in place to guide you
Its like a map
So you know your journey and the route taken
You cant just set of thinking i know im going, its somewhere north and hope you get there (sounds like a few people i could mention)…you might flukily but the chances are you’ll end up lost and pissed off and late
With the transformation sessions we follow this structure
We take measurements of your body and body composition so we know where you are at
We identify your goals to know where we are going
We look at you current exercise and nutritional practises
We then know how much work is required to get you there, in terms of length, duration, frequency
And we show you a workout implementing the kind of stuff that needs to be done
So we have a start and an end, the work required and the work
Having a plan doesn’t make it any easier however
The work still needs to be done
And there still may be deviations along the route
But as with all good plans, theres a plan b….plan c….plan d and so on
and remember
a plan is only as good as those who see it through’
thats the next part
so if you need help on where you are at/going/the work/
gimme a shout
